You can even plug it into the return jack of your amp to replace the amp’s preamp section or go direct into a PA mixer console to shape your tone right at the source. The Pump Preamp features three tone-shaping controls: Treble, Bass, and a Flat/Lowcut switch. The Flat/Lowcut switch is particularly useful for taming low-end frequencies below 200Hz, helping prevent high-gain guitars from clashing with bass guitars in the mix. It offers a smooth -6dB cut below 200Hz, keeping your tone tight and focused. Additionally, it can double as a high-quality external studio preamp, giving you even more ways to use it in both live and studio environments.
